Josh Duhamel Says Jennifer Lopez Was a "Dream" to Work with on Shotgun Wedding

"I've known her forever so it was easy for us to get in lock and step," the actor said of working with J.Lo.

Josh Duhamel is gushing about costar Jennifer Lopez.

The 48-year-old actor recently wrapped work on Shotgun Wedding, the romantic comedy he and Lopez filmed in the Dominican Republic. In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Duhamel had nothing but amazing things to say about the project and J.Lo as a human being.

"It was one of the most fun experiences I've had shooting, or working in this business," Duhamel said of filming Shotgun Wedding. "First of all, we're in the Dominican Republic, which is absolutely beautiful. Jen was a dream to work with, she's an absolute pro and totally engaged and loved the project."

Duhamel went on to explain that he and Lopez had known each other for a long time before going to work on the movie and that everything came together perfectly on the movie (basically confirming what everyone suspected anyway).

"We had a great relationship. I've known her forever so it was easy for us to get in lock and step," he continued. "The crew, the cast, we have a great cast and Jason Moore, the director, it was one of those situations that everything kind of fit perfectly. I'm very proud of the way it turned out and I can't wait for it all to come together."

Duhamel's comments about Lopez echo those made by her exes, Marc Anthony and Ben Affleck, who have both openly praised the 51-year-old stars incredible drive and work ethic.

"The thing about Jennifer is her ability to see and understand things before they happen,” Anthony, who was married to Lopez and with whom she shares twins Max and Emme, said. “Before she even brings an idea up, she has visualized it a thousand times. And if anyone says it might not be the greatest idea, she'll say, ‘You just don't see it yet.’ Nine times out of 10, she'll nail it. She's the first one in the room and the last to leave. The hardest worker I've ever met. When we were together, it was quite the opposite for me. That has changed since. I learned so much from her. She's the original!"

Affleck has also spoken out to praise his ex's work ethic.

"I thought I had a good work ethic, but I was completely humbled and blown away by what she was committed to doing day in and day out, the seriousness in which she took her work, the quiet and dedicated way she went about accomplishing her goals, and then how she would go back and redouble her efforts," he said. "She remains, to this day, the hardest-working person I've come across in this business. She has great talent, but she has also worked very hard for her success, and I'm so happy for her that she seems, at long last, to be getting the credit she deserves."
